An independent sourcing and comparison service built by people who have run and serviced Australian wind assets.
Talk to usMatched to vetted providers in your state. No cost, no obligation.
Wind Turbine Services exists to make the maintenance market legible for the people who own and run wind assets.
Wind Turbine Services is an independent sourcing and comparison service. We are not a service provider. We connect wind farm owners, asset managers and EPC contractors with independent maintenance, repair, inspection, crane and parts companies across Australia.
We are not a service provider and we never hold ourselves out as one. We do not climb towers, repair blades or swap gearboxes. What we do is simpler and, for a busy asset team, often more useful: we take a single enquiry and route it to the independent companies most likely to do the job well, in your state, on your turbine platform.
Australia's wind fleet is maturing and the service market behind it is fragmented. Owners juggle OEM agreements, independent service providers, crane companies, rope-access crews, drone operators, electrical contractors and parts suppliers, each with their own coverage and availability. When a turbine is down or a campaign is being planned, finding the right partner quickly is hard. We maintain the map so you do not have to.
A match is only useful if the provider can actually do the work safely and legally. Before we route leads to a partner, we check that they hold the credentials their scope demands: Global Wind Organisation (GWO) training for uptower work, IRATA rope-access certification for blade crews, high-voltage tickets and switching authorisations for electrical work, and current public liability and workers' compensation cover. We prioritise partners with a verifiable track record on Australian sites and the specific turbine platforms they claim to service.
The guidance across this site is written for engineers and asset managers, not for search engines. Our technical pages are reviewed by people who have done the work. Where we quote figures (O&M costs, component pricing, failure modes), we frame them as general information, keep them current, and flag that your own fleet and site will differ. We do not accept payment to rank a provider higher in a match; partners pay per lead or for exclusive state coverage, not for editorial favour.
Wind Turbine Services is run by a small Australian editorial and operations team with backgrounds in wind asset management, reliability engineering, uptower trades and energy data.
Spent fifteen years in asset management with Australian independent power producers, running operations and maintenance across Victorian and South Australian fleets. Started Wind Turbine Services after watching owners struggle to find capable service partners once turbines left warranty.
A reliability engineer by training, Anjali leads how we assess and accredit service partners: credentials, safety systems, insurance and track record. She has built condition-monitoring and maintenance-strategy programmes for utility-scale fleets.
Twelve years uptower as a blade and rope-access technician (IRATA Level 3) before moving to the desk. Boyd keeps our repair, blade and inspection pages honest, so the detail matches what crews actually find on site.
An energy data analyst who tracks the Australian wind fleet: turbine platforms, commissioning dates, warranty expiry and the renewable energy zone pipeline. Her work tells us where demand for independent service is building next.
